Welcome to the Trails Path, your ATV verified trail source where you will find ATV trails in Colorado and Utah. Every detailed trail track route has the following:

  • location,
  • directions,
  • camping and trail head information,
  • trail use,
  • geocache locations,
  • about this trail,
  • services in the area,
  • pictures,
  • video clips,
  • and a downloadable GPX file for use with your GPS. The GPS file includes the track of the trail and point-of-interest waypoints.

    Be sure to check the Motor Vehicle Use Maps ( MVUM ) before riding the trails as trail designation is changing. You are Riding and Driving at your own risk. It is your Responsibility.

Trail Verification

The GPS tracks have been verified using one or all three of the trail verifying methods listed below:

  • Method 1: The trail track has been riden by ATV with a GPS tracking the route of the trail we are riding taking pictures, video and marking way points along the way. This track is then checked again.

  • Method 2: The trail track is imported into map software to compare the track to the trails shown in the trail map software. This let us add icons, notes and pictures to the trail track. We then create a trail elevation profile to help in rating trails.

  • Method 3: We take the trail track path and import it into Google Earth checking the trail to a satellite view of the trails. We then create a virtual tour flyover of the trail giving you an arial view of the trail and terrain of the area.
